Had issues with my brakes making noise. Pat did everything right to fix this issue. Loud squeaking that was apparent after a wash or rain or when cold. He re installed new pads and rotors in the rear and noise is completely gone. I paid a lot of money and he fixed the issue same day. I appreciate him fitting me in and being a professional. I am not an easy customer as well. Thank you Pat and performance auto.

Outstanding Service from Performance Werks – Highly Recommended! I wanted to take a moment to share a bit of background and recognize an exceptional experience I had. I own a 2015 BMW X5 50i that had been experiencing persistent “clunking” noises from the rear—especially noticeable when turning or going over bumps. For the past seven months, my husband and I had been bringing the vehicle to our usual mechanic in Elgin for maintenance. Despite repeatedly voicing our concerns, the issue was dismissed. The mechanic attributed the noise to a previous accident with the previous owner involving the rear door, which didn’t quite add up. I strongly suspected it was related to the springs or suspension—especially given my background in the automotive industry. After feeling unheard, I decided to look elsewhere—and I’m so glad I did. Let me just say, I don’t let ANYONE touch my Mustang. But I trusted Jeremy and his crew at performance auto center to get what I needed done with good quality work. They did some exhaust work on my mustang when no one else would. Pricing was super fair and reasonable and all around a solid staff to work with. I do most of my own work but what I needed done was out of my wheelhouse and these guys stepped up and did amazing work. If I ever need some serious work done again on any car I’m paying these guys a visit and I think you should too!

Performance Auto Center was highly recommended by my brother because the owner Pat was an honest man. I took my car there with an Estimate that Firestone gave me that was over 3k. After speaking with the owner and explaining that I felt taken advantage of being a woman who knows nothing about the maintenance of vehicles, Pat said he would look at the car himself and be honest about what needs to be done and what was bs on Firestones estimate. When he called me with details of each thing, things that don't need to be fixed, things that can be checked next year, parts that looked good and not damaged and gave me a quote that was honest. It saved me thousands. He even gave me discounts because I had to Uber to him because I don't live nearby. I am now a new customer for the Nissan that I brought in and my Ram. It was 100% worth the distance to find an actual honest Auto Center. Pat was so respectful and kind and knew as a single mom that I needed honesty and not taken advantage of.
