This is a very traditional little hole in the wall restaurant. The staff were very positive and attentive. The wooden bench seating with a thin cushion was uncomfortable after about 5 minutes of sitting. My order of fish and chips came quickly. It looked tasty. The fish tasted good and the batter was good. The tartar sauce was very sweet. The fish by itself was very good. I may have gotten a bone from the haddock, something in the fish or its batter had given me a small cut on my tongue. I had asked for my chips to be crispy, they looked great. However they tasted smokey / burnt. I ate most of them, so it was not too bad. The staff made a fresh pot of coffee when I asked for a cup. It did not taste the greatest, it reminds me of the coffee made with water from old pipes. It was interesting to eat here. I had takeout from here 15 years ago and it was also okay if I remember.

First of all I want to thank for such nice and welcoming vibe. 1. The portioning for the Halibut fish with chips was sooo good. This is how much food I expect when I’m getting an order or fish and chips. 2. Service was 11/10 for sure! 3. The atmosphere was very lively and good enough to enjoy the food. Overall I’ll visit there anyday!

If you live in London and haven’t been here yet, you are missing out on a hidden gem. This is the only place I trust to get fish and chips. They do it right every single time. Their quality consistency is off the charts. Amazing customer service, super friendly staff that are always smiling and happy. I always feel like a valued customer when I walk in, even just for pick-up. They have lots of promo deals too (Wednesdays is Senior’s Day).

The fish and chips were good! It was a nice atmosphere. Not loud and was very clean. I will be going back.
