I stayed here for one night to save on my trip across town for a convention. The rooms were okay but nothing over the top. You can tell that they upgrading the hotel. The hallway to my room could have used some love and your room key should open all exterior doors but mine did not open the D door which is where I parked. The D door had to be pulled closed or anyone could just walk in. I did let the person working the counter know about this and they said the doors are being replaced.

By far the cleanest and most secure Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at. Even though it’s in a good area, there are still security measures in place. The entire motel smells clean and the room is absolutely spotless. I felt absolutely terrible, though, that I dropped my drink near the check-in desk, but Mohammad (?) was gracious about it. This will be my future ORD overnight place.

Positive: The affordability of the hotel was great and you could see they were updating everything Negative: I didn't like that the D Door on the backside of the building had to be pulled shut because the latch was too tight so when guests would leave, it would just stay propped open.

I don't know what everyones beef is with this hotel - it's a Motel 6. It's a relatively safe place to lie your head at night so you can move on the next day. Check in was painless and the water was hot. Would definitely stay here again.
