My 1.5 year old Bernedoodle (Quincy) recently completed a one week board and train with Austin. We had previously completed the 8 private sessions last year so he had a good knowledge base. His greatest weakness is his reactivity around people and other dogs. After just one week, Austin dialed in those bad behaviors and he is walking like a champ. My other dog, Abby, an almost one year old Australian cattle dog, attended a 2 week board and train with Austin last December. She does great on her own, but needed help figuring out how to walk with Quincy. I boarded her with Austin while Quincy was there and he has worked magic with these dogs. He truly cares about your pet. He doesn't just turn you loose when the lessons are done. He follows through and checks in to make sure you know how to continue the training and answer any questions. I would highly recommend Austin from OLK9 if you are struggling with training your dog. I promise it will be worth it!

Grateful and highly recommend. Otto, my 4-year-old Standard Goldendoodle, just wrapped up a two-week board and train with Austin. I’m thankful for the work they did together. Otto knew the basics, but we relied on a gentle lead to manage his pulling, and he’d often decide when commands were worth following- sometimes leading to dicey situations. From the start, Austin took the time to understand both Otto’s personality and my concerns. The regular updates showed a happy, well-cared-for pup who was actually enjoying the learning process. By the end of the two weeks, I brought home a more obedient dog trained in a new “language” that helps us communicate more effectively. I also received my own training with instructions & homework to reinforce and maintain the progress. Austin was patient during the handoff and made sure I felt confident with the new techniques before we parted ways. He’s also made it clear I can reach out anytime for advice or refresher training, whether with him or through Off Leash K9. Now, a week later, walks are smoother and genuinely more enjoyable. The follow-up support has been thoughtful and consistent. Truly a great experience, thank you!

I recently had my 1.5 year old pit (Boulder) go through the 2 week board and train. I would recommend this program to anyone I know and more specifically, Ryan, as the trainer. Upon meeting him it’s easy to notice his care and passion about working with dogs and also making them feel safe and loved throughout training. Boulder, a good boy before, came home as the best boy with manners, loose and off leash walking, and ability to hold commands. When picking him up, I could tell how much Boulder loved working with Ryan. Throughout the training Ryan was consistent in easing my own separation anxiety with pictures, videos, and positive reports of Boulder’s progress. I will continue to work with Ryan for all future training needs; Boulder couldn’t have had a better experience! So grateful for the work he does!

Abby trained our 7 month old puppy - Gus. He is a crazy 1/2 GSP 1/2 Great Pyrenees. Abby did a great job! He now walks off leash with little to no corrections. He even had a huge distraction the first week home during a walk with my son through our neighborhood. A large black bear was walking up our street right at Gus. He stayed right at my son’s side without any corrections! Truly Amazing!
