Jo PearsonI’ve had multiple negative experiences with Victoria, one of the receptionists here. She is consistently unhelpful, uninterested, and obstructive. On my last call, she was abrupt as usual, and when I addressed her attitude, she shouted at me and hung up, leaving my query unresolved. Her behavior might make her feel powerful, but she just comes across as negative and unhappy. If she dislikes her job that much, she should leave rather than take it out on patients. It’s unacceptable for a patient-facing role, and it’s shocking that the practice allows this to continue.

I find the staff friendly and helpful and, while I don't tend to need any urgent appointments, the availability works fine for me. They are good with prescriptions and always react well to prescription requests outside the norm.

Craig AMy repeat prescription was not renewed and I was asked to make an appointment with a doctor for a review. The many comments below confirm how near to impossible that is, so I went on NHS app and sent an enquiry last night 20th August. In fairness, I got a reply within 24 hours but that was to tell me my enquiry would be dealt with on the 4th September and telling me basically to stand by the phone all day in case the clinician decides to call me. So two weeks wait basically before anything will happen, by which time I will have run out of medication. UPDATE - in fairness, and for balance I feel I must update this review as, recently, things have improved somewhat. I did get quite a quick reply based on this review and subsequently have been able to discuss and sort my issues relatively easily via the NHS app. The chances of actually seeing a doctor in the flesh are still slim, but the staff answering enquiries via this method have been polite and efficient.
