I own a class B-C duplex in Bend that was under North Star Property Management for about 6 years. I enjoyed working with Faith, but when she left I found communication to be unpleasant and difficult, leaving me having to make multiple followups to get clear answers. For example, I was pressured into buying a mini-split to replace baseboard heat in a way where it was "either do it immediately or we will drop you," and so I did, and the tenant promptly gave notice 2 days after it was installed. I had planned to make the upgrades when state funding was available, but the timing of the installation caused me to miss out on about $2K in state incentives. This is just a warning to class B-C investors that this company focuses on class A and may not be compatible with your situation.
