I visited SARA Restaurant for the 2026 Winterlicious $75 dinner and really enjoyed the experience. The food is modern and international in style – light, creative and well balanced. My favourites were the Ikura Latke and the Charcoal Bass. The fish was perfectly cooked and the sauces were fresh, nutty and slightly spicy, not heavy at all. For dessert, the Chocolate dish was the best one – very unique and memorable. The space is small but cozy, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the pace of service is comfortable. Great place for a date or a casual get-together with friends.

I came here for winterlicious and it was great! Had their chopped salad which was plentiful. Other people had the wagyu sandwich starter which was amazing. I had the fish as my main and felt it was good but was not the biggest fan of the spicy sauce underneath. My friends ordered the steak and it was cooked well but came with almost like a coconut flavored sauce which was a bit unique. Overall the restaurant vibes were really nice and service was amazing! Bonus points for having very nice washrooms with bidets and Aesop soap.

My partner and I celebrated my birthday at Sara and had such an amazing time. We both agreed that this was our favourite spot that we had visited for an upscale dinner. We chose the tasting menu because it was such good value and gave us the option to try so many different dishes. It was AMAZING. So much variety in the dishes and every single one was purposeful and thoughtful. Our favourite dish was the tuna tartar with the ribeye in a close second. The drinks were just as good, presentation was fantastic and taste was even better. Our server Scott was amazing, explaining the dishes so we knew exactly what to expect and checking in to make sure we always had what we needed. We would absolutely visit Sara again for another celebratory dinner, date night, or even a casual night out with friends.

Came for their valentine’s tasting menu and overall enjoyed the food and experience. Good ambience and Joey took good care of us at the bar. The Ikura Latke and Argentinian Shrimp were my favourites. The only disappointment was the fries with the steak frites, which was way too salty (we did let our the server know). Chocolate cake with tahini at the end was delicious.
