Customer experiences
I had a facial at NIMA Institute today with Darci, and it was such a great experience! The facility was beautifully clean, smelled amazing, and had a relaxing ambience. Darci did a wonderful job. The facial was so soothing and the products she used felt and smelled great. I left feeling completely refreshed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing visit. Highly recommend!
It's always a pleasure getting serviced by the students at this medical spa. They're all very knowledgeable, professional, and eager to learn. I've been coming here for student services for over a decade and have never had a single issue. I truly enjoy being part of their training process and feel great knowing I'm helping them gain hands-on experience. Highly recommend to anyone considering being a model! Thank you Sarah for always including me in model benefit training.
My tech was Angelyn, she was awesome. Made me feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing as we went along. I had the Diamond Glow and my face has never felt better! I definitely recommend this place
I feel like I’m the only person who has had a negative experience here. Everything was great at first, I was welcomed back by Serenity B. and got dressed in the robe, then things took a quick turn. The facial steamer was not working which was a biiiggg bummer for me and my aesthetician did not seem to care. I wish she would have gotten someone or switched rooms considering I was paying for it. Then there was no music playing, even with a Sonos speaker in the room, so all I could hear was her squeaky gloves and the constant chatter of girls outside the room… the opposite of relaxing. I wish she had walked me through what she was doing and what she put in my face as there was one product I wish she hadn’t put on, a rough exfoliator that hurt my skin. It also felt like none of the products were completely washed off my face, at one point she put a face mask on and I can still feel it on my face now around my nose, cheeks, and brows. It felt as if she only focused on putting products and washing the perimeter of my face instead of my problem areas like right under my lips, checks, and nose as I had discussed with her before starting. She seemed to not be sure about anything and was less professional than I expected, even for a student. After my treatment when getting dressed I noticed all of the towels she had used on my face were just in a dirty pile on the floor which just felt very unsanitary and I was a bit shocked at the lack of attention to detail. She also stood very close to me the whole time I was putting sunscreen on (which I didn’t want to put on but felt like I had to with her watching over me) and did the same thing while I was checking out. I left feeling like an absolute grease ball and just wanted to go home and properly wash my face. I was very disappointed and planned on coming back later in the summer but have changed my mind.
NIMA Institute and Spa is a spa.
