I can’t speak to the overall quality of this organization, but I did have a recent experience with one of their salespeople that left me with concerns. A salesman came to my studio while I was in the middle of an interview. Despite me clearly explaining the situation, he launched straight into his pitch. He asked probing questions about my business's pain points right in front of the interviewee, completely disregarding what I had going on. The whole interaction felt very pushy—like a very high-pressure car sales situation. As a small business owner, I understand the hustle of cold calls and door-to-door sales, but there was no attempt from this salesperson to acknowledge or respect that I was in the middle of something important. He didn’t even suggest rescheduling or following up later; instead, he just barreled through his drawn-out pitch, asking for money on the spot. For a company that claims to “advocate” for small businesses, I would have expected more respect for basic professional etiquette. After doing some research, mainly on Reddit, I’ve found that other people have had similar experiences—pushy sales tactics that feel designed to get a quick commitment. When I asked if they could send me information via email, they told me they don’t do that. For me, the refusal to offer an email or phone number as an option also felt suspicious and only added to my concerns about their approach.
