Customer experiences
Best scam artists in the lehigh valley. These people will get every penny they can out of you. I'm moving out this month and I couldn't be more relieved. I wouldn't wish renting from this company on my worst enemy. From back charging utilities that aren't in my lease from up to 6 months back, telling me that I have to pay or they'll take me to court, then giving me the option of making a payment plan, however they would still hit me with their extremely steep late fee every month. Oh and let's talk about fixing household problems. I had a water leak in my kitchen for months, I told them about it and just crickets... absolutely nothing. Not until it started growing mold and I threatened to reach out to the city to report them did they repair the problem. Cheap, sketchy. Stay away at absolutely all costs.
NeoManagement is a company built on empty promises and blatant lies. Their website claims they operate with “hard work, professionalism, honesty, and integrity” but in reality, they don’t even come close. Their actions don’t match their words, and anyone dealing with them will quickly realize that money, not service, is their real priority. Like my landlord, they cut corners at every opportunity. The landlord is nothing more than a ghost, kicking back in some far-off place, sipping a drink, collecting rent while avoiding responsibility. Meanwhile, Cheryl the so-called “property manager” handles the mess, but let’s be honest: she’s just a middleman with an excuse for everything. When issues arise, she shrugs it off with “That’s up to the landlord, not me,” as if that somehow justifies the complete lack of action. And yet, she can’t even handle basic communication. Two weeks without a response? Repeated calls and emails ignored? That’s not just unprofessional it’s negligence. You have years in this business, yet your ability to manage and develop basic skills is nonexistent. I reported issues. I described exactly what was happening. And what did they do? Doubted me, as if I don’t live here every single day. Instead of taking action, they act like they know more about my living conditions than I do. Meanwhile, the problems in this house from failing floors to backed-up plumbing and leaking roofs keep piling up. And when they do finally send someone? It’s a lazy, half-baked fix, a temporary patch instead of a real solution. This landlord would rather spend pennies than take responsibility, all while living comfortably at a distance, never having to step foot in the home they refuse to maintain. Bad business is bad business. If you’re looking for a company that truly cares about tenants and property management, stay far away from NeoManagement. And pictures? These pictures are from my sewage, and no that’s not our toilet that was the sewage system that was installed. I Waited more than a month to get It done. Sleeping with the smell of SEWEGE
Neo Management Group are fantastic to work with! I cannot say enough good things about that team! I have to give a special shout out to Cheryl. Whenever there was an issue with the property, she would respond quickly and take personal ownership over every issue that arose - big or small. She was kind, responsive, and caring - even after hours or on a weekend. She is fantastic! Unfortunately our property was sold a few weeks ago and I absolutely miss Cheryl already! I highly recommend Neo Management Group!
Our experience with Neo Management started off well but ended with a frustrating and unfair move-out process after living in the apartment for three years. When we first moved in, we dealt with Howie, who was easy to communicate with. He even informed us that while we were welcome to paint the apartment a neutral color if we wanted to, they would not be painting it before our move-in. We didn’t bother to paint, and I have pictures to confirm that the apartment had not been freshly painted when we arrived. Throughout our three years living in the apartment, we always paid rent on time, maintained the unit well, and took great care to leave it in good condition when we moved out. In fact, my mother-in-law and her sister scrubbed the entire apartment from top to bottom before we turned over the keys. However, after we moved out at the end of June, Cheryl informed us that we would not be receiving our security deposit back. She falsely claimed in an email that the apartment had been "freshly painted" before our move-in and that there were numerous holes in the walls and dirt in the carpets that required costly repairs. This was a blatant lie, as we were told they would not be painting before we moved in, and I had photographic evidence to prove that the apartment was left in excellent condition, aside from normal wear and tear. To make matters worse, our lease stated nothing about the tenant being responsible for patching holes, cleaning carpets, or repainting walls upon moving out. Yet Cheryl sent us a bill totaling $2,450 for these supposed repairs. When we tried to dispute the charges, Cheryl became increasingly difficult to reach. She ignored our calls and took an unreasonably long time to respond to emails, and at one point block me from an email thread my husband and I were on with her. We even had to send a certified letter just to get her attention. Finally, after several months of back and forth and threatening small claims court, they sent part of our safety deposit money back. They took money out for holes in the walls and cleaning the carpet. I still feel like this was unfair, but we were just ready for this entire saga to be over. Given our experience after living in the apartment for three years, I will be informing my former neighbors, with whom I am still in contact, about the issues we faced with Neo Management. I want them to be aware of the potential problems they might encounter if they deal with similar situations. Overall, Neo Management’s handling of our move-out was unprofessional and dishonest. We felt mistreated and taken advantage of, and I cannot recommend them based on our experience.
