Nanaimo Airport

Tiny airport, but feels complete. Getting in and out is easy. We experienced no issues in arriving and leaving the airport. The staff are great and super friendly. Car rentals are a breeze without any hassle. Airport is clean and well organized. Definitely enjoyed the trip down to Nanaimo. If you're hungry, stop by the cafe before going through security. Once you're past security, you only got vending machines and a water fountain.

An excellent airport with a very nice layout. All the staff are very friendly, polite, and professional. 5 stars could have been achieved if there was a bit more attention to cleanliness in the bathrooms. Perhaps more frequent cleaning during busier times could help bring up the cleanliness level. Also, some attention to detail on the doorknobs, stall door locks, and other touch-surfaces could make a big difference.

Small, but I like it. However, we arrived in Nanaimo only to turn back around to go back to Vancouver city. It was due to the fog but also because their rules are different for visibility. But staff is informative, which is great.

Cute little airport very little security except for they do x-ray your bags that are checked before they go onto the plane after you've checked in just FYI. Plus they use an ion scanner on your checked bag if their concerned about something in it. Little weird but staff is very friendly. And love the gigantic windows.
