What a stunningly, beautiful location for this intimate hotel. For a moment, sitting by the lobby fireplace, I felt like it was more of a 2nd home than a hotel. The rooms are well appointed, offering a comfortable night's sleep. Thoughtful amenities like hot cocoa and truffles (yum) at the front desk in the evenings, the pantry for late night snacks (+ Hydration) and great dining experiences (and service) at Meridien. Don't miss out on a spa treatment, my massage with Oliver was therapeutic and sensational!

What a truly wonderful place. We arrived at Headlands halfway through our two week PNW tour to the kindest of service, fabulous food, wonderful views. Our room was spacious and cozy. The gym is well equipped, and we enjoyed the hot tub afterward. (Also: If you're visiting Pacific City, be sure to try Beach Walk! What a memorable meal.)

The hotel itself is beautiful and in a perfect location with stunning views of the beach — exactly what we were hoping for when booking. The atmosphere and setting are relaxing, and the rooms are nicely done. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the property. We were celebrating our anniversary and had mentioned ahead of time that we don’t drink, asking if we could have dessert in lieu of champagne. Over the phone, we were told this was possible, but in person it was not offered, which felt disappointing on such a special occasion. In general, our interactions with staff and servers felt inattentive, and the onsite dining experience did not live up to expectations. Overall, the lodge is a gorgeous spot to stay if you’re looking for scenery and comfort, but the service left us wishing for more, especially for a milestone celebration.

Overall great stay during a busy extended summer weekend. |Pros: spacious room, fantastic views, soft sheets, whale watching and sunsets from your balcony, friendly staff, AC, fireplace, comfortable robes, fun adventures, nice spa, sound proof windows. Restaurant on site is nice because limited options in town.|Cons: Dory boat horns all day so you can’t leave your balcony open, you can hear people walking in hallways, doors slamming and things like luggage being dropped below you. You can’t hear tvs or talking next to you but we were awoken and different times by the room shaking. If you are motion sensitive, beware and we were on the top floor. Restaurant prices are a bit high with a limited menu, but food is high-quality.
