The staff has been so sweet and accommodating. Before moving with Mt Bachelor property we had been with a few other property managements who gave us the notion that all property managements were scary, unaccommodating and sleazy. We are very proud to have worked with Mt. Bachelor property management and would happily work with them again when we move back to the area. They are kind, accommodating, reasonable, helpful. And I'm glad they shed a new light for us that property managements can be wonderful to work with.

We had a really good experience with Mt. Bachelor Property Management! They are very nice to work with, never had any issues with them at all. They were also very accommodating and understanding with us and our situation when we moved out. We didn’t have any issues with the move out process and even got our full deposit back! Would highly recommend renting through them.

I rented from Mt. Bachelor Property Management company for about 1.5 years at their apartment complex in Sisters. They're okay, at best. At best. Overall, the company itself is incompetent. My apartment was brand new, which was nice. It seemed they wanted to get these rented out ASAP because when I moved in, the place could have used a cleaning. There was particle board remnants all the cabinets, microwave, and stove. The carpet installation was poorly done in one of the rooms too. The washing machine wasn't even functional because I guess they forgot to turn the water on. When I sent in a maintenance request, it was closed fairly quickly without them having said anything to me or actually stopping by. I had to contact them and let them know I still had the issue. When someone did come by, thankfully it was a quick fix and they confirmed there that the water simply hadn't been turned on. The door to my balcony was shoddy from the start, but was initially told it was just the new building "settling" or something. It, of course, became an issue down the line. It took a while for them to get to me on that request, mostly because they have one (very cool, no complaints with him) maintenance guy. I think Jennifer also works a bit of maintenance, or does inspections. She seems personable, but ultimately just a company shill. She'll talk with you, seem personable, she will certainly trauma dump on you if you let her, but if you actually have an issue, she will do what her job is and that is to be mostly unhelpful to tenants and be a face for the company. Because of this start, I realized I shouldn't have high expectations. My bathroom sink faucet's stopper didn't work either but rather than making a fuss about it, I just made do. The folks who work in admin are nice, but they don't know much. I remember when I got my dog, I was letting them know that I was on the search. Technically, my lease said nothing about an age restriction. But when I called, they said no dogs under a year. I was allowed a cat, my neighbors said they weren't. There were just a lot of inconsistencies. They still stole a couple hundred dollars from my deposit, though. The place was left clean and Oregon laws say that landlords can charge a tenant for excessive wear and tear. I admit that I left a couple of items, cleaning items but that's because I worked through their extensive and ridiculous cleaning list. Most places require a wipe down, vacuum/sweep, carpet clean, but they are cheap to the bone and want you to do it, and will still charge you for the cleaning company they're going to call in. Unfortunately, I lost my pictures when my phone broke and can't prove that they gave the apartment to me in a mediocre state and while they say I should have told them, they should have also done their job and provided a clean, ready to occupy space. The living experience was fine, but they're just another Bend property management company that is overall incompetent. Edit to the response if the owner: Once again, I was provided with low expectations seeing it was dirty and things weren’t working. No, I didn’t report it because expectations were low. I addressed this when I said, “while they say I should have told them, they should have also done their job and provided a clean, ready to occupy space.” Move out charges weren’t according to Oregon law. Nothing I left was excessive wear and tear. Taking 3 weeks to a month to address a maintenance issue is not timely in anyone’s book, I imagine. And straight out closing a ticket and having your tenant need to reach out to you AGAIN to ensure it gets taken care of isn’t good property management, it’s incompetence and negligence. Do better.

My mother and I rented from this property management company. This was the first and last time I will ever rent from a property management. As a prior homeowner who was returning to Bend, Oregon after not living there for twenty years, I wanted to rent before I bought a home. I was pregnant at the time and explicitly asked if this was a quiet location, I was told it was; however, it was not. The entire street was under construction for the full duration I lived there. For the first full month, the internet was not available due to a wiring issue from the builders. There were two storage sheds in the backyard so the neighbors could come in and out of our yard as they pleased. Luckily, for the majority of the time I lived there no one lived next to me. This was helpful, as the construction of the walls are thin as well, so if you have a neighbor you will hear them. Next, the a/c and heater units did not work properly so during the winter it was cold downstairs. Lastly, water drained from the pipes in the walls and flooded the bathroom floor. We eventually sued and won the lawsuit! We left the place completely spotless only to be charged a large cleaning fee
