Customer experiences
My friends and I went to Portly Piper’s to watch the World Series baseball game, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was super lively and full of energy because of the game, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. For appetizers, one of my friends ordered poutine and nachos, while I had the seafood curry pasta - it was absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. My other friend ordered the lamb souvlaki for her main course and loved it as well. For drinks, I asked the staff to surprise me with a mocktail, and they customized one for me. It turned out so refreshing - I really enjoyed it! To finish off the meal, we shared a crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert. It was creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious - the perfect sweet ending to a great night. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and atmosphere, and I would definitely go back again!
So totally worth the reputation. We have been here a few times and every single visit makes us want to come back again. I always order the Mexican salad because it is absolutely perfect every time. Portions are very generous and we always end up taking leftovers home.
Had the Chef Burger with fries 😋 and my wife had the Chicken Stir Fry! So much food for both of us, we had a to - go boxes! Had a 20oz Bubble Stash, really the only GOOD IPA on tap. Service (Carlisse) was excellent! Sat in a booth, and watch the ball game (Dodgers and Phillies)!
My family and I have been regular customers here for 10+ years. The owner is so kind and always seats us right away if he sees us. He’s a wonderful gentleman. The food here is great with large portions. I’ve tried many things but our regular order is Greek salad, bruschetta, and wings. All very good. This place however is extremely noisy almost all the time, which is expected but can be a little bit of a mood killer. People let their kids run everywhere. Overall the food and service is great but the noise is very loud even for a pub
