Customer experiences
My Experience with mountian view dental was amazing the staff was so friendly and professional. Dr.Stella Tami was so friendly and she took the time to explain everything to me. My experience with one of her staff for my cleaning was great made me feel comfortable, was super friendly. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.
I am not satisfied with my first cleaning. The hygienist was too heavy-handed, which caused my gums to bleed. The water spray and vacuum also splashed on my face. For the high price, I expected better care, but the cleaning was done very quickly even though it had been almost three years since my last one (we just moved here to New Brunswick). I chose this clinic because of the good reviews, but my experience was disappointing. The customer service was also not great—it felt like they cared more about money than providing good service. I am still thinking whether I should go back or look for another clinic.
Part 2 I had a filling pop out almost 2 months before my scheduled appointment. Fortunately Dr. Goel's office was able to book me in within the same week. At my appointed time the lovely hygienist took x-rays of the naughty tooth. Dr. Goel looked them over and then graciously cleaned and replaced the missing filling (since not wanting freezing saves a bit of time). Once Dr. Goel was working on the missing cavity, he noticed a slight fracture on the other side of the same tooth. Funny how a seemingly unfortunate incident can turn into a blessing. If not for that filling coming out, that fracture would have evolved into something more tragic. Thank you Dr. Goel. Definitely the best dentist of my current 64 years on this Earth. Part 1 Moved to Moncton just over 1 year ago now. Have since been to this dentist office 3 times now. First time was for check-up. Knew going in that I needed work since I chipped one of my teeth over 4 months ago. HUGE chip. Figured either it was going to be pulled or root canal and I wasn't going to go the root canal method. Fine young dentist, Dr. Maninder Goel found 3 cavities (chipped tooth considered one of them. He scheduled me for early the next week. Upon appointed time I went in with my wife. She had 2 small cavities to fill. Shortly after, it was my turn. Dr. Goel immediately put me at ease. He made sure to confirm that I did not want freezing. I reassured him that, yes I did not want any freezing. Side note, it wasn't until late in public school that I learnt that dentists could actually freeze ones mouth before drilling. Tried it years later and found I preferred no freezing. Guess I'd been toughened up in my youth. I felt no undo comfort throughout the procedure for my LARGE cavity. Chuckled a couple times during drilling. Both times due to all the water splattering that was going on during the heavy drilling. Both times the good Dr. stopped to check that I was okay.😎 Rarely have I ever had such an attentive dentist. Even during all the internal equipment setup for the arduous task of placing a filling across the entire top section of the chipped tooth. I've had, in the past, dentist's pinch my lip or internal mouth with their various clamps. When expressing discomfort I've had, at least once, the dentist exclaim that, "oh, forgot that he can feel that". Due to time restraints Dr. Goel had to schedule another day for the 2 remaining smaller cavities. Early next week, Monday, I went back in for the final 2 fillings. This time I brought my phone to capture various pictures of my wonderful experience. I must confess that I'd trust my life to Dr. Goel and his very young assistant. Top notch experience and a true delight to have these well trained professionals working upon this big mouth of mine to keep me going. We must all know that a healthy mouth makes for a healthy body. I have taken pictures of their front buildings entrance. Their office entrance. The elevator, steps down the building (second floor), door from outside to those steps, actual chair and views around it, my teeth x-rays as well as the good Dr. and his assistant (both agreed to having their pictures taken).
Staff is friendly. Have been going here for over 15 plus years. Their office is clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and free. The location is good, being close to main routes/ highways. Building has an elevator to use as they are on the 2nd floor. The only issue we have is that it seems like they have taken too many patients on how. If you have to rebook an appointment for a cleaning because life happens and what you book 9 months prior may not work, it can take 6 plus months for a new appointment. For this reason, it is why I can no longer recommend it. We are now looking at moving to another dental practice that isn't overwhelmed with patience.
