My wife and I went through Mountain Ridge Insurance for quite a while. They were very good when we had them as our broker. We lost our car a few months back and had to cancel our policy. Upon cancellation, the person on the phone mentioned that if we wanted to start back up again we should give them a call. I agreed without hesitation, as they've always been so supportive and helpful. We were able to acquire a different vehicle and I called today. A different woman picked up the phone. I told her we'd like to start up a policy again, and she informed me that this insurance group only handles existing policies and I should seek car insurance policies elsewhere. (She recommended a different agency.) Perhaps I did not read the fine print somewhere. I could see nowhere on their website that you must have current coverage to obtain a policy from this broker. I called Progressive and set up a new policy directly through them instead.

1 Star is too generous since they have been taking $$$ out of our account after several emails canceling our coverage months ago. When we asked them to stop and refund they refused to assist saying it was Travelers insurance. They also included drivers we clearly stated are not in our household. They are fraudulent and horrible brokers.
