Motel 6 Cedar Rapids, IA - Airport

I hate to post negative reviews, but this is one of the worst places I've ever stayed. The room was dirty. There was mold all over the bathroom and the toilet was filthy. The worst part was the shower. Paint was falling off the ceiling. I was literally covered in paint chips. I had to check out and find another place to shower. The most aggravating part is the fact that I went to the front desk and asked to speak to someone about it. I didn't want to make a scene or embarrass the staff. I spoke to the maintenance manager, who was picking paint chips out of my hair while we were talking, and he promised the manager would call me and return my money. No one ever called. I've called 3 times. These are health code violations. I was polite and understanding. I deserve a refund. I most definitely deserved a return call.

Not upscale. Smells. Room upstairs smells like cat piss so we gonna transferred to the room right above. Not safe. Also, if tou want comfortable sheets or blanket, bring your own. No matter what the ac was turned down to it was still so humid.

Went there for a con. Got room through booking.com and asked for early check in which was told was not passed on even tho was told it was. The lady has at the front desk had a bad attitude. Room was on third floor with no elevator which I didn't know so I had to lug my stuff to the third floor. I lost my earphones so called hotel and lady I talked to acted like she didn't give a care and wasn't going to do anything to help me said she's talked to the cleaning crew to look out for them even after I told them this was on Saturday and it was Monday when I called. She wasn't listening and didn't care. Will NOT be going back to this hotel.
