by far the best customer experience I've ever had at any business ever, not just any hair salon, any business I have ever step foot in. I'm usually not a tipper, but I made sure to tip 20% when I was leaving because that is how insanely impressed I was with the customer service. On top of this the actual service was absolutely amazing, all the products they use on my hair were very good and smelled nice. My stylist (Elaijah) was one of the nicest and easiest people you can talk to. 100/10, already have another appointment booked to go back three months from now.

I came in for a wash and blowout today and had an amazing experience from start to finish. Amakihi was so kind and professional —she made sure the water temperature was just right, checked on me throughout the service, offered refreshments, and handled my hair with care. I’m really picky about my natural hair, but I felt completely at ease. If I could give 100 stars, I would! Mrs. Brandy, the owner, has created such a peaceful and welcoming space. She even greeted me personally and shared their current monthly specials. This is the kind of excellence I love to see!

I'm just back from True Beauty Salon. Read my review here. I have been to many salons during my lifetime. However, True Beauty Salon is the most professionally operated salon in the Baton Rouge area. I love the location, and the warm reception I received from Orlandria when I first visited. I also received a pleasant welcome from Trinity, who scheduled my consult visit. After meeting with Thersa, I knew she was the stylist for me! Thersa examined my hair, then proceeded to create a plan of action to bring life back to, and repair my hair. I love her professional demeanor. Additionally, I was priviledged to meet Imadreyan, and Nyla. They, too, rendered excellent service to their clients. I was referred to the salon by Navonne Johnson. Everything she told me about True Beauty is the GOSPEL TRUTH!! Ms. Brandi, kudos to you and your staff. You guys represent excellence in the community. Your salon is tastefully decorated, has a relaxed environment, is thought provoking, and encourages others to keep reaching; keep believing and realizing that God has a purpose for all of our lives!
