I stay here every year for work and every year it keeps getting even better. Such a cosy hotel, perfectly located and reasonably priced. That’s not even the best bit. The best bit is for someone who works up and down the country and is no stranger to many different Premier Inns, I can say quite confidently say that Reading Central has the best staff of all of them. They are all great but in particular Aneta who works on reception is an absolute superstar, how she hasn’t been stolen from Premier Inn yet is just mind boggling but I’m sure she will be CEO one day. She’s the quite literally the best of the best. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, and the parking isn’t that bad, don’t let that deter you.

Fantastic location and lovely staff. Very helpful every time I visit for work. |Beds and room are to a high premier inn standard.||Food is severed quick and is hot plus very tasty. ||Location is great for work and access into reading.||I stay at the hotel many times.

I opted for a Premier Plus room for my short stay in Reading. Unfortunately my experience was let down by general poor attention to detail in the room and service provision. Generally the room was nice and clean and the checking in process, while automated, ran smoothly. The bad points were as follows.||Firstly, on arrival at 1am the automatic main doors were not working. After 5 minutes of buzzing the entry system a staff member arrived and advised the doors needed to be opened manually. Surprised that no staff member had the initiative to post a notice to that effect on the door. ||Secondly my room door lock was defective in that it would not double lock. Clearly this had not been checked.||Thirdly Premier Plus promises an improved wifi service. But registering for this requires typing lots of information - name, address etc. that is already available to Premier from the booking. It is pointless - and again poor security practice to hold duplicate copies of this information. When I book why cannot I receive a wifi key with my room key? ||So until in summary my experience was very much premier minus. I shall be using the alternatives until I am confident that Premier has improved.

I really want to sing the praises of the lovely manager who was on duty on the night of 15th February and then the morning of the 16th. I didn't get your name, sorry! |I was staying as part of a large group of Scentsy consultants who were attending an event at the Town Hall. |Afterwards, we all came back to the hotel bar where this lady made us all feel incredibly welcome. She served us all with a smile, working late to ensure we all had a great night. She provided biscuits and plates for our takeaway pizzas and never once complained! |The following morning, she was back with that same enthusiasm and smile. This lady had such a positive vibe and energy about her and made our stay! Well done. Absolute credit to Premier Inn Reading Central!
