The mechanic is also the owner of the business, so he takes really good care of his customers and is also very experienced in what he does. By speaking to him, you quickly realise how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his profession. I was told by 4 other mechanics that they do not have the requisite tools to do a forced DPF regen on a Honda Civic 9th Gen, so I was left with the option of either taking it to the dealership or sell the car at a massive undervalue. I spoke to the garage and was asked by the owner to drop the car off. I must say, I did not have high hopes, especially after being told by 4 other garages that I'll need to see a Honda specialist or take to the dealership. Montague Motor Engineers had the diagnostics tools to find the error codes and also resolved the issue the same day, changed the oil and the filter too. The car's dashboard is now clear and it feels as powerful as brand new. A forced DPF regen at Honda would've probably cost me 2x as much as I paid, and given that no other mechanic I spoke to could run such regen on Hondas, Montague Motor Engineers is deserving of 5 stars. When I came to pick up the car, the owner explained to me the entire process and showed me pictures and videos of the steps that he took while running the DPF regen on my car. You will never find a mechanic that will take the time to actually give you a thorough explanation of the process that he took to repair the car. This man knows what he's doing, and although I hope I won't need to see him again, he'll be the first point of contact if my car breaks down in the future.

I needed a MOT asap, they were able to sort me out straight away, I was in and out within a couple hours. They sent me videos taking me through what needed repairing, how it works and why they need to fix it. Really efficient and informative the whole way through

Shabaz serviced my car and then took the time to thoroughly explain the findings and make recommendations including pragmatic advice on what needed fixing first. He is a degree-qualified engineer, not your average ‘grease monkey’ and a real breath of fresh air to deal with. He clearly has a passion for his work and is honest to boot. Highly recommended.

The labor charges alone were £120 per hour, and the diagnosis cost an additional £50. If you choose to visit this shop, be prepared to spend a considerable amount. It's advisable to inquire about the costs upfront and explore other options to ensure you're comfortable with the expenses associated with their services.
