I hated having to go to Pittsburgh, because I was not guaranteed to be seeing the same hairstylist each time. I am a creature of habit. If I like how you did my hair you are characterized as the person from that point. It started to become a problem, because half of the time the hairstylist didn't know how to do my hair. It was not only the traveling, but also the time that it took. I literally would have to clear out a whole day from work. With all of the time wasted and money spent I was not satisfied at all. Then on one January day after a loss that devastated me, I met Misty, my future hairstylist. This beautiful soul offered to help me on her day off, because as she stated to me "people cross paths for a reason". To sum it up Misty has now been my hairstylist for over a year. She is a genuine sweetheart and cares more about her clients than most other hairstylist. She does a variety of styles as well as a variety of hair types. She is one of the few hairstylist in Morgantown, WV, that deals with ethnic hair styles. If you want a hairstylist that is well educated and diverse, I suggest that you look Misty up and experience her expertise. My hair has grown so much in a year, since Misty has become my hairstylist. It has become so much more healthier. I even took one of my daughters to see her. I couldn't get the before picture for my daughter, but trust me when I say her hair is better off. She had a multitude of damage to her hair, once Misty was done her hair looked 150% healthier. That was after just one sitting. I have also started taking my Granddaughter to have her hair done by Misty. I have added several pictures of what she has done for my Daughter, my Granddaughter, and myself. Misty is a gift for anyone who needs a hairstylist. As of now both of my Daughters, my Granddaughter, and myself are now clients of Misty's Beauty Image.

10/10 could not recommend Misty enough, I’ve struggled to find a stylist who could do my braids tight without putting a ton of gel in my hair and she gets them tight in all the right places with minimal gel!

Misty has been a Godsend. After 10 years of living in this area, I've finally found someone who can not only braid black hair, but has a true understanding of ethnic hair and how to take care of it. Her work is truly amazing. And the vibe in the shop is like being out with friends.
