Jennifer was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was great with communication. Anytime I had a question, she answered it quickly. She also helped with communicating with my vendors. On the day of my wedding, her team was very friendly, efficient, and set everything up exactly how I had envisioned it!

Jenn and her team were absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process and our big day! We planned our wedding from out of state and Jenn made sure everything was handled: coordination of vendors, flipping from ceremony to reception, and going above and beyond to make sure we were able to enjoy the day, rather than worrying about things. Her team even packed up all our decorations after the reception! Simply Southern Events was a pivotal part of our day going so smoothly!

Very disappointed in the services I was provided. Jennifer was great in the beginning, with communicating etc., but the in person professionalism, and coordination was not there. When the rehearsal day came, she did not take charge and organize the wedding party for ceremony practice. By the time I got everyone's attention it was dark outside and I felt like we were very unprepared for the next day. She never once introduced herself, or asked to meet any one in the wedding party, she was kind of just there. Wedding day came, she was there in the morning, great, not really sure what she was doing while me and the girls were getting ready. Closer to ceremony time I had to get Jennifer to go relieve my mom so she could relax and get ready with us. That was one of the main reasons I hired her was so my mom didn't have to be running around like crazy. Before the day started Jennifer and I went over the flow of the day, she wrote my notes down and times so everything would go as planned. After the ceremony, Jennifer was NOT coordinating. The wedding party was all over the place, I missed cocktail hour because I could not find her to get everyone together. My husband walked in to the venue (without me) to use the restroom, and everyone started cheering for him like he won the lottery. As a bride, you can imagine how the excitement for my introduction vanished. So finally my MOH and myself had to wrangle up the wedding party and WE told the DJ to start doing introductions 30+ minutes into cocktail hour. I also had specific instructions on having my brother in law say a blessing before dinner, she did not coordinate that so we did not have a prayer before dinner, which was something I told her was important! I had to tell her when to start speeches, she didn't even ask me who was doing speeches before hand, I think the 2 just knew they were doing speeches and I told someone to give them a heads up. Pretty much all day she was there to ask me what to do, or wait for me to tell her what to do when we had already discussed this. My husband also told me a few days after the wedding she was very rude to him during rehearsal practice, and when we asked her to tell the DJ to play the music we provided she was kind of rude and seemed like she didn't want to do that for us. (which was her job to my understanding) The DJ reached out to me a day or so before the wedding, and he was totally lost and didn't know what the plan was. I had provided the DJ info early on, and had to ask Jennifer to reach out to the DJ to catch him up to speed as well. She was helpful in setting up tables, or decor, and to my knowledge she helped clean up. However, there were multiple things in my timeline that did not happen due to her lack of coordination. This service was one of my biggest regrets of the wedding, as I feel like I missed out on a lot events within the wedding I was looking forward to.

She was great! From the moment we signed the contract to the end of the wedding. She was amazing. She made sure my wedding was running smoothly and kept me calm, she had all the right answers, even had nausea medicine! Highly recommend!
