Customer experiences
I recently had the joy of working with Cindy from Milton Kia. I have never met a harder working person than Cindy. She made the experience of getting a new vehicle smooth and painless. She is a literal angel. Can't wait to work with her again in the future. Not only is she a hard worker but so sweet and personable. Absolutely love my new car! Thank you so much Cindy 💓
We were in the market for a new family vehicle. We did our research and decided we wanted either a 2025 or 2026 Kia Carnival HEV. Little did I know how sought after this vehicle is! So began my search! I of course started locally, but I quickly learned that if I wanted to get one of these vehicles within a certain timeframe, I would have to expand my search area. I sent inquiries out over a 150 km area from where I lived. Many correspondence going back and forth. Most letting me know that they did not have what I was looking for. Many advising that it would be 7-12 months if I wanted to order one. Some had inventory of older models to consider. Others had variations (ie. Gas and/or LX). Then, I heard back from Haseeb at Milton Kia. He let me know that they just so happened to have a 2026 Kia Carnival HEV coming in early the next month. He shared the price and answered all of my questions. He was extremely accessible and had quick communication. It was true happenstance that I was able to find this vehicle. Sure, we didn't want to have to wait til the next month to receive it - but we couldn't complain! We provided some necessary documentation, and then we prepared to wait........That was, until (and this is all pure luck), THE VERY NEXT DAY, Haseeb sends me a text and asks if he can video call me. I was surprised at this, but ya sure - so we hopped on a video call. Little did anyone know, but our new 2026 Kia Carnival EX had all of a sudden ARRIVED 🤩 We were ecstatic, and so was Haseeb! We made plans to come pick it up at the end of the week. From here, we did a bit more correspondence, and then at the end of that week my husband and I made the one hour trip to Milton to pick up our new vehicle. It was a perfect weather day, with blue skies and clear air (a break from the humidity) for the first time in weeks! To say the stars aligned on this experience, would be an understatement. The experience we've had dealing with Kia, from my local dealership (who's sales representative kept in touch with me the entire time; providing me with support, guiding me, and helping me to be cautious so I wasn't taken advantage of), to Jean, the Finance manager at Milton Kia (who is just the sweetest woman you'll ever meet. She wants to set you up for success, providing you with advice, while also taking thoughtful steps to keep your personal information secure), to Victor, the Manager of Sales (who is so well spoken and shared how Haseeb advocated for me, ensuring he was in line to secure our Kia for us at the first opportunity), to Haseeb, who took a chance on some random email from a woman who lives an hour away. It is obvious that at Kia, it is about relationships, the human connection and transparency. As Haseeb said to me in one of our text exchanges, "Magic happens when good people connect". We are SO happy with our new Kia Carnival. While I'm sure the proof will be in the pudding, I have a feeling that we are in very good hands with Kia.
This is a photo of my brand new-to-me car from Kia Milton. That broke down half an hour after I purchased it. 30 min after I drove off the lot. On the 401. I'm still livid. They fixed the problem (which should have been found in an inspection), then reneged on the offer to deliver it to me at work. There was no real heart felt apology from upper management (there was a mortified and heartfelt apology from my sales Rep, but it's not his job to make sure the car is safe) or offer of anything to make up to me for the harrowing ordeal.
Went in to my local Kia today because my front tire had lost a ton of air overnight and I wanted to know whether it was repairable or the tire was shot. They took it in, though I didn't have an appointment. Told me that the tires were just really old and cracking, but they didn't try to super-sell me on new tires. They filled up my tires for free and didn't charge for the consult. I ended up ordering new tires because the tires were original to the car, so it's about time for new ones anyways. Never had a bad experience with Kia service, though. They always go above and beyond.
Milton Hyundai is a used car dealer.
