After having been referred by another family friend, we were recommended this mechanic. I had taken my 2000 Chevy Impala for some minor issues such as the blinker not functioning properly, or AC problems. But when it came to more complex situations like my improperly working power steering pump, we weren't accommodated with the good quality parts. When they had put a new power steering pump the first time, it turns out it happened to be defected after barley driving it. So, we took it back and they put a new one acknowledging that indeed it was defected. Just 3 months in we realized that my steering was hard just as it used to be unfortunately. Having brought it to another mechanic that we trusted more, it turns out that it may have been the improper pump for my car. My new mechanic made sure to perform several tests to ensure that my pump was working correctly for my steering wheel, and indeed it worked out as it was of the right quality for my car. My parents had also brought their 2012 Outback for brake work, and it turns out that Vo's workers had installed the brakes backwards making them improperly function. This was revealed to us by our new mechanic. We would have gone back to get them replaced by them for no charge but after my incident of having gotten installed two defected power steering pumps, we had lost our trust in Vo's auto repair. I would recommend only coming here for minor issues, rather than complex ones. Just take it into consideration.

I asked around for a qualified, reasonably priced mechanic and I kept hearing the same name: Vo's, Vo's, Vo's. Not only is this a great shop, they're ridiculously fast and friendly. Vo's keeps me on the road so I can take care of MY business. My go-to shop, for sure.

I recently took my car to Vo’s Auto Repair to have my oil changed, my intake hose replaced because it was cracked and to have both headlight bulbs replaced. I dropped my car off first thing in the morning and the lady that works the desk wrote all three things in her notebook. They had my car all day. I returned at around 4:15 pm to get my car. The bill was $125 which was fine assuming they had done the work. When I got home I opened my hood to see the new intake hose but was surprised to find that they had not replaced the cracked hose. Upon further inspection I saw that the screws that held my air filter box in the closed position were not tightened back down. I decided to check the oil to see if it had been changed and to my surprise it had not been changed. So I called Vo’s to ask why the intake hose had not been fixed and the oil change didn’t get done. The response I got as to why they didn’t replace the hose was that they couldn’t see the crack. The oil change they said I had never requested. I stood in their shop at the desk and watched the lady wright it down but she denied that I asked for an oil change and would not show me the note book. They are nice people but I don’t recommend taking your vehicle to them. This review is just my personal experience with them.

This is second trip to Vo's for a different car. The communication was incredible. The technician we had was Jon, got in diagnosed the problem and saved us money by seeing if some of the parts are salvageable, which they were. Car was towed there late Monday afternoon around 4 and got a call today (Wednesday) morning and it was ready. Also love they support our military. Cant say enough good things them-turn around, price and honesty-what more can you ask for.
