I have gotten to know the MCHE very well over the last year. My daughter and I took a multi-week class on the Holocaust that was outstanding. Not only did it give us a historical education on the Holocaust, but it also helped us understand that these kind of atrocities can happen again. The educators even provided guidance to help identify the early types of behavior that can lead to such depravity. I have since been able to take advantage of multiple learning opportunities that they routinely offer to the public. It is important to know that the kind of work and education the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education provides is as important today as it has ever been.

The Midwest Center for Holocaust Education is a gem in Kansas City. Their knowledge is vast and their resources for teachers and the community at large are incredible. They provide various programs throughout the year targeting different age groups and audiences. They "teach the history of the Holocaust, applying its lessons to counter indifference, intolerance, and genocide," which is needed now more than ever. Our community is fortunate to have MCHE.
