Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clear Lake

We've traveled across the country and back (with our 2 60+lb dogs) on I-80 in the past 2 weeks. We stopped at this hotel by chance and were SO PLEASENTLY SURPRISED! Cleanest, best priced, best breakfast place of them all. It's not new, but it is being very well maintained. GREAT STAFF!

May not be your typical 5 star hotel in regard to updates and modern, but it was clean and the staff was fantastic!! Being in the transportation industry we come across a lot of sketchy hotels in the middle of nowhere, but this one is great!! Clean, safe, amazing price, comfortable bed, and great service. I was a bit nervous looking at reviews, but I stuck with my gut and had a great stay. Right off the interstate and I didn’t have to drive a long way away from where I dropped off the oversize load and driver for the night.

We were looking for a quiet, convenient place to stop for the night and found the Pleasant Stay Inn almost by accident—glad we did! It's a cozy, well-kept little hotel with super welcoming staff and very clean rooms. My kids slept great (which says a lot), and breakfast in the morning was simple but satisfying. Perfect spot for travelers just needing a restful break. Highly recommend.
