Good grocery store. Decent selection in every department, including beers, and quicker flow through the registers than a lot of places. That's said the prices on regular non-sale items can be wild sometimes, and even the sales are sometimes still more expensive than other places on a regular day for similar products.

Arrived late, most relevant sub-store inside the supermarket were closed. Cashier was nice and attentive when I asked for a wine opener, not to buy just to use. Facility in general matches with the standard supermarket in Canada. Fresh produce, an extraordinary collection of food and beverages and anything you can imagine to be found in an average supermarket.

Small selection of items, the shopping cart noisy on ceramic tiles on almost half of the surface is very annoying. Not much interesting deals.

Some products are wayy to overprise so I can't suggest you to go in but you can to IGA thats a good alternative to Metro Plus.
