If you are looking for the best mechanic in town, Jim Reese is your man!!. Today my water pump was replaced, after taking my car in without notice d/t a fluid leak after getting an oil change. Jim looked at it right away, and we arranged to have the work done next day. Customer service between he and Sue was 5 star, communication was above and beyond as was the service. If you are ever in need of getting your car repaired look no further than Reese's auto. They go out of their way to make their customers happy, and that's not easy being in their line of work!

As others have said, it seems as if the people here are incompetent, lazy, or cheap and just plain ripping customers off. I had them "fix my breaks" after they had installed them as new on my car, and they didn't fix a thing. Had to take it to my families mechanic who fixed it properly the first time. He had to replace the pads, calipers, and rotors to do it though. Definitely would NOT bring my car to this shop for even the simplest service.

Reese Auto & Equipment. Incompetence or fraud? It seems that this is the shop that does safety inspections for one of the local car dealers. Within 30 days of purchasing a vehicle inspected by Reese it was in need of a front wheel bearing as well as ball joints. These are not defects that happen all of a sudden. These are parts that gradually wear throughout the life of the vehicle therefore they could not have been in good condition 30 days earlier and then need to be replaced within such a short period of time. What we have now is the repair shops shifting the blame to the dealer and the dealer shifting back to the repair shop. Whether it's incompetence or fraud either way you may want to think twice before visiting these scammers for any type of repairs. You have many other choices so why not find a business that is honest and knowledgeable instead of Reese?
