I would love to be able to give a review but truth is I called multiple times to see if there was anyone available as I need help with a civil matter and never heard back. Every time I spoke to the receptionist she told me there’s nothing else she can do so finally she transferred me to one of the assistance voicemail and never heard back either. My first review seems to have been deleted so I thought there to resubmit it again. I guess they have enough work they don’t need new clients.

I strongly believe 1 star ratings should only be given if absolutely deserved. There are many, many law offices in Calgary, and I would advise to look elsewhere.

Not the Experience I Expected from a Law Firm I was very disappointed with how my situation was handled by McLeod Law LLP. I received a legal threat over a review I posted about my former landlord, instead of any real effort to resolve the matter at hand — which involved a withheld damage deposit and an unresolved injury claim. The letter I received felt rushed and impersonal, containing inconsistent information, including conflicting assistant contact names and no transparency in communication (their client wasn’t even CC’d). It came across more like an intimidation tactic than a legitimate legal inquiry. As someone dealing with real consequences — a physical injury, time off work, and unreturned funds — I expected professionalism, not pressure. I understand lawyers advocate for their clients, but how it’s done matters. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for thoughtful or respectful legal support.
