My name is Lauren, I am using my Dad's account to write a review Jonah Dickstein is a very ethical lawyer! I first came around Jonah from calling him over the weekend In September of 2023, I told him about my situation: I was sexually/physically abused by my ex-boyfriend, I made a police report, did an injunction which was recommended by police, and tried to get an apology from my ex-boyfriend for the abuse and unfortunately it was all unsuccessful. My ex-boyfriend then retaliated against me and got a stalking injunction against me. Jonah was very understanding about my situation and never once did he judged me for calling my ex and trying to get an apology from him, Jonah understood 100%. The police and the government system did not understand because unfortunately they are not trauma-informed. Jonah is very trauma-informed and highly skilled at recognizing sexual abuse trauma and highly skilled at recognizing abuse from the government system and super highly skilled at recognizing the behavior of sexual abusers as well. Before Jonah took my case, he wanted to meet in person- I loved that he did that because that made me feel he wanted to see if I was fully telling the truth, and after he saw and felt my pain, he told me he was going to help me. Jonah is also a man of faith, during the first meeting of meeting Jonah, we talked about the Book of Jonah and the Book of Job and how we all have trials and tribulations that we have to face, when Jonah mentioned this, I knew God led me to Jonah. During the time of Jonah helping me, his co-worker passed away and his paralegal was having health issues with her eye. Despite all of that happening, Jonah still helped me! He worked on my case and took my calls and answered my texts. I was not easy to help because I was destroyed from the trauma I endured from my ex but Jonah felt my pain and he still helped me no matter what. He could have quit at any time but he did not. If you want an ethical lawyer that is highly trained at recognizing abusive men and that is highly skilled at knowing sexual abuse trauma, Jonah is the one to hire. He will work under stress and work with victims of sexual assault and be caring and nurturing. Jonah won my appeal against my ex boyfriend! Jonah helped with healing my soul. I feel like the wounds on my soul are now turning into scars, the wounds are not bleeding anymore since there scars now. I can move forward with scars and not wounds. Honestly, the best lawyer, I’ve had the experience of working with, & I’ve had quite a few! Very professional always there for you 100%, answers the phone unless he’s in court. Probably should have billed me for a therapist fee because while I was going through my tribulations he was always there for me to talk to, and vent to! Even came by my mom‘s house to meet my family and just check on me face-to-face, Not only is he a great lawyer he’s a great person with a great heart, Rare nowadays to find a lawyer with such passion about what he does and for his clients!
