Our previous experience with this firm was quite nice. Victor was very professional and respectful, and the staff at the time was very polite. This was in the midst of the pandemic but they were fast and accommodating. This time around we had a different experience. It felt like we were a burden to deal with and staff was not happy about answering our questions nor addressing our concerns. If you are like us who question everything in order to understand what to do and why, and that require a more gentle approach from those we which to hire to represent us, I think it's best to find another firm with nicer staff that's patient enough, and welcomes you and your business. We are paying for their service, we deserve to being taken care of during the process. They might know the law, but they need a refresher in customer service and client retention. Sadly, our next purchase and other businesses will be at another firm, but we wish them the very best!

My wife and I were first-time homebuyers and chose Victor Hussein Law based on our realtor’s recommendation. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a big mistake. We hardly dealt with Victor himself—perhaps he was too busy, but as first-time buyers, we really needed guidance and support. Their team was extremely slow and unhelpful throughout the process. We weren’t even told the exact amount required to close until 9 PM the night before closing, which was stressful and unacceptable. The lawyer assigned to review our condo’s status certificate seemed not to have read it thoroughly. When we asked a specific question, she couldn’t answer and instead gave us a generic response. I ultimately had to find the answer on my own. Later, when I asked about property taxes, their advice was simply to figure it out yourself. For a firm that should be helping first-time buyers navigate the process, this was incredibly disappointing. Overall, the experience was slow, frustrating, and unhelpful from start to finish. I would strongly advise first-time homebuyers to look elsewhere.
