Customer experiences
If i could leave a 0 star review I would. This company is awful. I had a leak in my hot water tank it was extremely bad, my insurer had notified them 2 days prior. water was pouring onto my floors and I wasn’t sure what to do. I called the “emergency” line, they informed me that they can’t come out for insurance claims, to which I responded “what if it was my own money?” Colin replied, “we just don’t do that”. Why have an emergency line if they don’t come out for emergencies? Colin eventually explained that I should call Monday at 8am to set up an appointment, and so I did. I was told that they could do the end of the week and call my insurer to find something sooner, and so I did. turns out that they were the soonest available company. I was perfectly fine with this. So I called everyday from Tuesday-Friday and left multiple voicemails with no response. I get an email the following Monday explaining how they are “way too busy” to be taking on additional jobs. Why was I or my insurer not informed of this the week prior? I have no idea. I had no hot water in my apartment for an entire week because this company decided to waste my time…. Colin then proceeds to gaslight me explaining that he already informed me that they were “way too busy” when nothing of the sort was ever said to me. This is absolutely disgusting that my time is completely wasted by incompetence. I truly hope that anyone reading this does not use this godawful company and anyone currently using their services realizes how poor their service is and that they do not care about anyone they are providing the service to. Hope you have a great day!
BEWARE!!! They will ask for a credit card number when you call to book an appointment. This is so when the job is finished - EVEN IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT-they can bill your card for the full amount and thumb their nose at you. They have no desire to ensure that the customer is happy prior to taking your money. I called to book them to install a condensate pump for my air conditioner. They told me approx $200. The tech showed up with no pipe or tubing and had to go back to the shop. He billed an hour ($100) to do this. He then proceeded to charge me $115 for $15 worth of plastic tube. When I questioned the size of the bill (over $400) They said too bad and billed my card. They refused to negotiate on the total. I am retired on a disability pension and they said that they performed the work so pay up. Very disappointed.
We had an amazing experience with Master Tech. They were responsive from day one and on arrived on time and ready to go on the day of our fireplace installation. They were professional to deal with and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a fireplace installed!
had a propane furnace installed in 2013. we were charged for parts we did not need and they just left them here. for the last year [2017] the gas fan has gotten louder. we emailed for a service and enquired about warranty, the response email was that the warranty was 1yr and they dont stock or sell parts. terrible customer service for having spent $4,000 for them to do the work.
