My mom lived at one of their properties, and received some of the worst customer service she has ever experienced. Management was horrible, the staff rude and impolite. If she asked questions it was met with sarcasm and attitude.There was water damage in her unit (not caused by her) but they charged her to replace the entire carpet.They said the carpet had a 5yr warranty even though my mom lived there for 4yrs. She considered moving to one of their sister properties but knew people that lived there who complained about roaches and mice. They also refused to prorate her rent when she wanted to move out before the end the month. Instead, they said she was responsible for the entire month no matter when she moved. They did a walkthrough of her unit prior to her moving out, said everything was okay then later told her she had to pay a fee before moving and that it would not be taken from her security deposit.

What a wonderful Company !! I lived at Oakland Hills for seven plus years I. Two different units. My Mother could not do steps any longer and they approved me to move to a walk in unit, No steps, when it came available. The staff was great and the maintenance staff was amazing!! They kept the grounds beautiful !! Maintenance tickets were done quickly and I found the staff to be very friendly and willing to help with anything!! Neighbors were friendly and quiet and the area was safe and located 10 minutes from Annapolis. Gorgeous views of the Bay Hills Golf course from your balconies or patios. I would recommend the community to anyone!! Recently I vacated because I retired and moved to NC to be closer to family. Also the weekend agent Dee has a wonderful friendly personality and is so helpful. The maintenance Manager Rafael is superb and friendly. Go check this community out you won't be sorry !!

Maryland Management does not treat applicants with fairness or dignity. Families deserve better. After losing our home to a fire, my family applied for housing with Maryland Management. Despite meeting income requirements and securing a guarantor, we were denied twice — once for a decades-old offense, and again for so-called "rental history" that doesn't exist. When we called to ask for clarification, the representative was rude and dismissive — especially after we mentioned fair housing laws. It's hard not to feel like there's bias at play when all supporting documents check out, and you're still being blocked from safe, stable housing.

do not recommend. crooked company. charging me 3 grand for a new fridge, new carpet, and a clean out. 1. the carpet was used and cleaned when i moved in. now they want me to pay for new? 2. i told Robert Doss at Riverside Apartments where i lived, for a whole month that i needed a new fridge. i was on the top floor. thats their neglect, not mine. 3. it was employee housing, gave me and my girlfriend 5 days to get out. for the first 3, we thought we were going to be sleeping in our car. we’re now bumming at her moms house. you really expected us to take the furniture?? not only do they neglect tenants, but employees too.
