I have been a long time customer for about five years and most all my clothes come from Marne. I have slowly phased out fast fashion and throw away clothes and exchanged them for life long, ethical, beautiful garments. I love Angela (the shop owner). At this point she knows me. I have no idea how she keeps everyone straight but she always knows what will fit and what won’t. I am 12-14 regular and I fit in her clothes! I always feel celebrated and cared for. It’s one of those store I feel comfortable coming out of the fitting room and looking in the big mirror.

Angela has created such a special place in Des Moines. Every time I go in, I feel like I have my own personal shopper helping me look and feel my best! The brands she carries are high quality and staple pieces I will have forever.

MARNē is a brilliant little shop in Des Moines’ East Village. Tucked between restaurants, coffee, music venues and the best clothing boutiques in the entire city. The owner thoughtfully curates a collection of responsible, sustainable, and cutting edge brands. Word is there’s also a really kind of amazing pop-up shop in the back too with premium vintage items from all over the World!
