Customer experiences
Service and atmosphere are awesome. Food is not so much. I had the Bloody Mary, that was awesome. I had the country breakfast sandwich that was absolutely ruined by that cheap / Kraft type cheese. It’s a shame cuz the bar tender was great and the rest of sandwich was high quality and tasty. Also it was Friday morning and there was still a wait for a table. The lady at the front desk did not let us know that we could sit at the bar we found out ourselves! If the owner is reading this PLEASE use better cheese!
This is a great place to eat with really good food! I know everything has gone up but the prices seemed a little high for what we received. I wish there was just one piece of french toast you could order instead of two great big pieces. The little three pieces of bacon was not worth $7.00 in my opinion. The sweet tea is fabulous! We always stop here and I don't mean to complain as it really is good food.
What an amazing breakfast place! We ordered the fries chicken eggs Benedict with extra crispy hash browns and we were positively blown away. Katie, our waitress, was wonderful and nailed the order. I’ve never had such perfectly cooked hash browns and the hollandaise was fresh and had that perfect lemon hit. Highly recommend!
Periodically, we visit Mammy's Kitchen for lunch or dinner. Pictured are the Hot Brown and Bourbon Glazed Grilled Chicken. Both entrées were delicious, but the sides were a bit disappointing. I ordered the home style potatoes and the portion was very small. The waitress added tater tots because there were so few. The mac & cheese portion was very small as well. The prices are higher when compared to similar style restaurants. The cheapest appetizer was fried pickles for $11.99. Most meals were $18 and up unless you get a sandwich or burger served with chips. The restaurant has a unique country atmosphere, but some updates/repairs are needed. (Booth seats had splits/holes) The service was average, but we have experienced that every visit. (Slow to get food and refills) If you are in the area, give it try and see what you think.
