Well- I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I was not expecting to have such a lovely meal from a vegan restaurant, but it was great- all very flavoursome and delicious. The waiter was extremely helpful and efficient too. I think sharing the small plates and getting a larger one each for a main seems a good idea. My only potential criticism is that the desserts might not really be worth it- mine was alright but it just wasn’t that nice.

I visited Mallow at Borough Market to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. We shared the pita, hummus, charred leek bharta, mojo rojo croquettes, and Mallow Chick+n Burger. Everything was great, but the hummus and mojo rojo croquettes were the highlights! The staff were friendly and helpful, even showing us photos of dishes while we decided. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious plant-based food and excellent service. It’s now at the top of my list of favorite vegan restaurants in London. Highly recommend!

I read positive reviews about Mallow but I didn't expect to be consistently so reliable and good, from start to finish! Portions are more generous than London average (main plus starter should be enough), and dishes are mildly creative. Although the artichoke soup main was excessively spicy, the experience was flawless with excellent and discreet service. Prices are just right, set menu courses can be improved, but £42 per head is reasonable for the location.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch at this vegan establishment! The starters were a highlight—every bite was packed with flavor. The carrot and parsnip dish, hummus, burnt leek, and charred elements were all beautifully prepared. The tempura main was especially delicious, perfectly crispy and light. Desserts were equally impressive. The crème brûlée was the best, while the chocolate tart fab too. Rasmali was an interesting twist. The only slight letdown was the aubergine and tres leche cake, which was just average compared to the other outstanding dishes. Overall, a wonderful meal with great flavors and excellent service. Highly recommended!
