The offices are very clean. I Went to the ER for kidney stones and extreme pain. The nurse taking vitals was so rude and kept giving me dirty looks. I waited a while. Finally went back and they ran some tests. The doctor came in once to literally say “sorry it’s such a busy night I just need to go talk to this patient and I’ll be back” he never came back except to discharge me. I did all my tests and they told me everything was fine and sent me home. I went back because I got worse. Same thing they sent me home saying all my tests were normal. I still felt awful. So I decided to go to a different hospital who ran their own tests. Turns out that the first urine test I did was not normal. I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection due to the lack of care at this ER. I showed the hospital all my results. They told me that not only did I have kidney stones but I also had a kidney infection that was really bad and required me to be hospitalized for almost a week.. the doctors just don’t care in the ER. Good luck if you go. I pray you have a better experience!

Every interaction I have had with this hospital is negative. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the doctors everyone is bothered that you are there and how they treat you reflects that. They make sure you feel dumb. Trying to make simple check up appointments for my wife's pregnancy could not be more complicated and tedious. Every appointment we have gone to--Someone has "forgot to order something" For example--Your midwife can't order genetic testing. (At least that's what we were told. I don't believe it.) You have to go see a genetic counselor, who will then order the test. Then you have to see the counselor again for them to review the results. To be clear I'm not an aerospace engineer, but it seems like if your midwife could order the test and you could get it done while you are already getting your blood drawn--You wouldn't have to waste time seeing a genetic counselor to review information that they don't have yet. A year ago I walked out of the ER to go to another hospital because of the treatment from the staff. It is frankly creepy to go somewhere for medical care where they are annoyed you are there. If the staff treats you like this, I can only imagine what the administration is like. Complete nightmare. Cannot wait to switch insurance and never have to interact with U of U health again.

The doctor and the MA were both very gracious, good communication, and detailed explanations of what was going on. I appreciated the special care they took, and that they took the time to explain every little detail. I didn’t feel rushed or like a number. It was a great visit. Good experience all around

Alicia was the most straight forward and honest medical provider I have ever worked with. She listened and made sure we were on the same page and then proceeded from there. Even though I didn't want surgery right now, she still took the time to do an examination as well as complete an entire conversation. Thru my experiences of several Dr. prior who didn't do even 1/2 the work, she blew them out of the water. Now my daughter and son-in-law have appointments with her. I will continue to sing her praises as I am sure the rest of my family will do the same after their appointments.
