Customer experiences
Risotto was good. Pizza dough was like lavash bread. Not Italian for sure. But good in general.
It was fairly good, put not 5*. Has pretty basic Italian food. I had the veal parm which seemed like ground veal as there is no way they could have gotten it that tender. I did enjoy the taste though. Nice wine selection.
✨Languages: Started conversation in English upon arrival and waitress seemed surprised and did not speak English. We switched to French and waitress provided good service and pleasant demeanour during stay. ✨Food and cost: I had the carnivore pizza ($26.00 & asking for thick crust will cost you $4.00 extra). Pizza was good and good portion for 1 person. ✨Lasagna (around $25 for a portion for 1 person). 🚩This is a different type of lasagna than some might be used too. Kind of like a deep pan version. Served in circular bowl. Wife likes traditional lasagna and found this to be too thick and saucy. I had some and it was filling and tasty. ✨Atmosphere: laid back and kind of rustic, worn look. Clientele consisted of children all the way up to seniors. ✨Alcohol. Wine: About $10 per glass with ok selection. Beer. Had pretty good selection with price about $10 per pinte or $9-11$ per large can (microbrasserie choice with some Regular brands. Cost: We paid about $135 with tax in. Got 10% off showing we were staying at St. Germain Hotel (saved $12.00 😊).
my partner and i came here after an afternoon spent hiking in rimouski. we thought it might be one of the more affordable restaurants but our bill came to over 100$ after two main pasta entrées and an appetizer of onion rings 😳 this would’ve been a fair price if the pasta was super delicious but it was honestly just mediocre. if you are an intermediate cook at home then the pasta here was nothing special… on the plus side, the service we received was superb, our waiter was efficient and friendly! the interior is relaxing and classy, it makes you feel like you are somewhere a bit fancy even though it’s not. we were given a free basket of bread and garlic butter to start, which was appreciated. i wouldn’t not recommend anyone come here but also it is a bit expensive for the quality and value you’re getting
