When I first decided to give Magna Pest Solutions a try, I was under the impression that I would receive professional and consistent customer service. In the beginning, I can say that that is exactly what I got. With each appointment, I was very satisfied with the attention to detail and the communication that the company provided me. However, over the last 6 months to a year, it has been the COMPLETE opposite. My first complaint concerns how we have not received the services that we have been paying for. Within the notes of the appointments after each driver comes out to spray, they state that they clean off areas and "remove exterior spider webbing and wasp nests," which they have NEVER done (pictures included for proof on this review that clearly shows there is a build up of spider webs after each service that hasn't even been touched). My second complaint concerns a change in appointment time frames due to new and conflicting work schedules. When speaking with Magna's customer service, I made it clear that they had to come out in the afternoons so my husband and I can ensure we are home as I have a lock on the gate to my backyard, and they cannot access that part of my property without someone opening it for them. For whatever reason, the drivers, as well as the customer service associates, could not correct it within their system. After numerous calls (more than 3) and multiple charges for full services I never received, where they charged me for spraying both my front and back yard, but they only treat the front because they cannot access the backyard, we have just had it. The last customer service associate that I spoke with a few months ago assured me that there would be a note added to our account with updated time frames for our appointments (between 3-5PM), but here we are today and a driver came out while I was still at work (at 1:30PM) and I watched him ring my doorbell on my ring camera and drive away without spraying a single part of my residence. We reached out to customer service and explained that while I understand that it is a monthly charge and the services are bi-monthly, this has been a common occurrence, and my husband and I agreed that we just wanted to cancel our services. To make matters worse, the customer service associate said that the update for our appointment time frames wasn't even added to our account, which is why the driver came out today during the time he did (and the appointment text confirmation never showed a time at all, it was completely blank). My third and final complaint concerns the final conversation I had with customer service today when we asked to have our money refunded and to cancel our account, we were told that we would be charged a 200$ CANCELLATION FEE, which we were NEVER told about when signing up for this service. We were also told that we would be notified at the end of each 12-month contract and asked if we would like to continue with their services, and that never happened either. We refused to pay the cancellation fee, to which they said they would waive the fee, but would still be keeping my $50 for the service I never received today. In all, I wish I could have continued utilizing this company, but it seems they are very unorganized, unprofessional, and unreliable. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else for your pest control needs.

I had such a great experience with Magna Pest Control thanks to their technician, Bret. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. He was also extremely kind and helpful — above and beyond what I expected. The fact that he even brought my trash cans up from the curb was such a thoughtful gesture. It’s rare to come across service that feels this personal and professional. Magna is lucky to have someone like Bret on their team!

did a great job explaining how the solution works. came spray on the inside my home since i expressed we started seeing spiders inside the house. sprayed majority of my yard and where my kids play so there won’t be bugs on their toys!
