Customer experiences
I have stage 3 endometriosis, I was admitted into the hospital I waited 20 hours in the emergency for a bed. I was suffering extreme pain and very bad endo flare up. This lady and her team deprived me of everything to get better, I actually left because I felt like they were killing me , they left me in so much pain. I had to call the director of the hospital multiple times in order to help me, even the slightest. The er doctor I had was amazing Dr Patel, he understands my condition and what I am going thru. I hate this hospital most do and that’s why no one comes unless they don’t have insurance. They treat you like an animal. Never again.
This Hospital is a JOKE!!! More so meaning the ED here is a Ignorant, Not only do half of the ED nurse talk shit to , and laugh at you when you're in pain,. Not 1 or 2 or nurses laughed. It was a handful of them . This is where people are supposed to come when they need help???? Really, here's my story I have had a spinal fusion in February of this year , just this past Tuesday September 23 ,2025 I had a spinal decompression , let me remind that my Last surgery was 3 days before I'm posting this. Someone please explain to my why someone who just had surgery 3 days ago , with a open wound in their back , that shouldn't be open , has to sit for a hour in a room see a Nurses Physician. I'm going to repeat myself one more time I had surgery 3 days ago at this hospital so with am I not being taken care of as a emergency !!! With a open wound on my back!!! They were sure quick to come shot me up with morphine, until I told them ' No" , I need nausea medication first I can't take pain medication without it. Guess what they never came back around , with any kind of medication after that, not even the nausea medication. People talk about this Hospital for the ED department, give people drugs and send them about their way. I also want to make this very clear. THIS WAS NOT A SURGEON ISSUE!!!! THIS IS POINT BLANK THIS HOSPITAL NO CARING ABOUT ANYONE BY A PAY CHECK
I would Have given it a higher rating because the first few nurses were marvelous attentive and even though they were extremely busy they took care of all their patients I was given my medication within the allotted times kept checking in on me which I appreciate it if I can remember correctly the outstanding nurses and their pct were Dana, Karen and Jessica or Jennifer not sure their pcts were Brisa and Zayra and a few others that I don’t remember the names they were awesome but today 09/22/2025 the male nurse I received care from was not the best unfortunately I don’t what was going on I didn’t get pain meds till almost 10 o’clock AM they do a shift change at 7 in the morning then o asked for Nausea medication, and Pain medication again around 330 P.M. It is now 835 P.M. And the The Nurse on the new shift is actually getting a hold of the Dr. I do not know why this nurse did that. He made me feel really unheard, unseen, and my symptoms were not important. Nurses name was Gio. I did not recommend, unless it’s a dire emergency to come here. It’s unfortunate that they have some Awesome nurses, but because of Others that either don’t do their job right or don’t like their job. They make it difficult for them to get a better score.
I delivered my son here 1 week ago (unplanned c-section). When I 1st spoke with my midwife about delivering here I honestly was quite iffy due to the reviews, add that to my anxiety due to the black maternal mortality rate, safe to say my nerves were through the roof. Those reviews do not speak to the labor and delivery unit of this hospital at all. EVERYONE I encountered here helped me to feel seen, heard, and supported! Thank you to my midwives for listening to what I truly wanted and making sure when intervention was needed I got it! I want to thank my ob surgeon Dr. Browne I believe everything happens for a reason and I am so blessed it was her that completed my surgery, she came into my room and reassured me, made me feel comfortable with the c-section because I was very opposed as I had a traumatic experience with one previously at a different hospital. Stanley the anestheologist was so awesome! I cannot remember all of the nurses names unfortunately but they were all beautiful, helpful, comforting people as well (Linda, Janice, Giselle, Priscilla, April, Jackie!) Thank you all so much for looking out for the well being of me and my beautiful baby boy. My heart is full. That is a staff that cares. I would recommend labor and delivery 10 times over!
