I booked a Knit Works machine knitting class for me and my Mum for her birthday. I have never knitted anything myself, so I felt a bit of trepidation before the class. Luckily, Timmy was on hand to take us through the whole process (very patiently I must add). The session was very informative and enjoyable. Timmy was an amazing teacher and a lovely person to boot. He showed us how to use the machines, and was on hand offering guidance throughout the session. It was really good fun, selecting the wool, and the different colours for the pattern. My Mum, who is more experienced at knitting, appreciated the machines. She was more used to hand knitting, and the process of machine knitting is so much faster. In our session, we knitted some scarves and it was really nice leaving the session with something we had made ourselves. I would definitely recommend Knit Works for both the amateur and the professional knitter alike. It's a fun group activity and it's great leaving the session, with something you have made yourself, Would recommend it 100%.
