I went to Zazu Salon with my daughter for her first hairdo, and the experience was even better than expected. The stylist was super patient and really gentle—my daughter felt comfortable the whole time. I was impressed by how many hair styles, kid-friendly cuts, and color options they had; the nail spa and wash-&-blow-dry setup looked amazing too. We didn’t settle on anything permanent this time, but we’ll definitely come back when she’s ready. Highly recommend for parents planning a special first hair appointment.

I was referred here by my sister and don't live very close. The drive was definitely worth it to see Evelyn. She was super helpful making sure I got the best results and giving great tips. Will definitely come back to see her for my next cut and color. The salon is also super super cute and the part of shampoo bowl where you lean your head back into the bowl was the most comfortable out of all the places I have gone too which is so nice because they usually are so uncomfortable.

Lolipop Amazing

I had a very disappointing experience at Zazu Salon. Not only was my hair damaged after my appointment, but the stylists were also unprofessional and rude throughout the process. Instead of feeling cared for and listened to, I felt dismissed and rushed. My hair was left dry, brittle, and far from what I asked for. When I expressed my concerns, the stylist showed little interest in fixing the problem or even acknowledging it. For a salon that claims to provide quality service, I expected far more professionalism and skill. I would not recommend Zazu Salon to anyone who values the health of their hair or respectful customer service.

After having Kylie do our hair, and further having Carter do our hair (who does Kylie’s hair), I can safely attest to the fact I will NOT revisit Zazu Hinsdale. Lopping off 4” of my daughter’s hair, telling her that her that her hair was damaged, which it was not (considering that Kylie did her hair in March) and having her leave your salon looking like she left a salon at a less selective salon, is disheartening. Her hair was NOT damaged. Carter did not want to do the “work”. Do your homework! I will absolutely NOT be returning. I will not let my negative review rest. Absolutely subpar service received. I will be disputing the charge! Carson, you should be ashamed of your work!
