I just moved to the Fenelon Falls area and was pleasantly surprised to find an Indian restaurant in town. I have been to India a couple of dozen times and love the food. It is off season here and was the only customer. The young lady working the front of house was so sweet and friendly and we chatted the whole time I was there. I saw lamb biryani on the menu which is my favorite dish. It was excellent and took me back to some of my places in Mumbai as the food was that good. Very authentic and the chef / owner was happy to see me pop my head into the kitchen to give her 2 thumbs up. If you want authentic Indian cuisine and a very pleasant atmosphere do stop by the Lotus Indian Bistro you will be very happy you did.

Had Indian food at several places before, didn’t have high expectations at first. After all, this is a small town. Then the empty dishes and plates proved that we were absolutely wrong! The food was amazing! The girl who served us was polite and humble, and did a great job. The washroom was kept quite clean. Nothing to complain about. Their naan is the BEST! Next time when we come to Fenelon Falls, will dine here again, for sure.

This is a restaurant with pretty ambience and quite good food. We had visited this place in November during off season when this was the only Indian restaurant that was open in the entire Fenelon falls area. Must say, the food was quite yummy and the owner was very friendly too. Would like to visit once in summer as well when the patio is open and the restaurant is open for longer hours.

Amazing authentic food — Chicken curry poutine, curry coconut chicken soup, mango salad, lamb biryani, jal frazi, all excellent.
