I called Delta Plumbers because I had a small leak in my shower door. I explained the problem clearly over the phone and even asked if it was something they could fix. Another plumbing company had already told me they don’t handle this type of repair — but Delta said they could. They came out quickly, which I appreciated — but as soon as the plumber arrived, he said they couldn’t fix the problem and that the entire shower would need to be replaced. I was confused by this — the whole shower doesn’t leak; it’s just a small amount of water where the door closes. The magnetic strip that closes the door was installed poorly by me, so I assumed it would be a good place to start. If they could not fix a leaking shower or did not want to spend time to find the parts, they should not have come out. The plumber told me that it would take too long to find parts, that I could likely find a whole new door at Class Canada, but his boss wouldn't allow him to quote a fix and they wouldn't install it. The plumber came while I was at work while my wife and son were at home. When he was finished his "Diagnosis" He called me three times insisting that he couldn’t leave the premises until I paid the diagnostic fee. I reluctantly paid just to end the situation. My wife later told me that both she and my son felt very uncomfortable, which made me regret calling Delta even more. Out of curiosity, I decided to see what they would quote for a new shower. When I received the “quote,” it contained no details at all — no measurements, no model, no materials, no description — just a demand for a $3,390 deposit toward a $6,780 shower. When I called back to ask for details, the office staff said they didn’t have any information. How can a company quote thousands of dollars for work without providing any details or having any information on what they are providing? Their communication and professionalism were extremely poor from start to finish. After this experience, I looked at other reviews and noticed several similar complaints. I wish I had done that before calling them. Hopefully they understand this situation from our perspective and start learning from these reviews. The plumber and receptionists seemed nice to speak to on the phone, but they are constrained by poor policies that create poor customer experiences. If they do care, they should really return the fee that they charged. I am doubtful that will happen.

I had a clogged sewer line and called Delta to solve this issue. They told me it was going be 2200 dollars to fix the problem and get my line hydro jetted. I agreed and paid them. When they were finished, they told me the problem wasn't solved and I needed to get my sewer line replaced for another 22000 dollars. I felt pressured by them to sign for it but decided not to in order to get a second opinion because this was such a massive amount of money. I called another plumbing company that came an hour later and only charged me 300 and completely fixed my problem. So in short: 1) Delta Plumbers charged me 2200 dollars to not fix my problem. 2) Delta Plumbers did their best to create a sense of urgency by saying if I don't get my line replaced within a day or two, my sewer line will continue to back up and quoted me 24000 to get my sewer line replaced. 3) Another company solved my problem for only 300 dollars. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I feel completely ripped off by them. EDIT: After seeing the reply to my review, I called the customer service line and they told me management would get back to me the next morning. They never called. I called that afternoon asking what happened. They apologized and said someone would call me the next morning. Guess what? Again, they never called. Brutal customer service. I don't understand why I would be told to reach out if they didn't want to talk to me. I’m usually not one to take the time to write a long negative review of a company, but my experience couldn’t have been worse. This company is smoke and mirrors.

I had a quote for leak repairs from another plumber and I wanted to get more quotes to decide where to go to. I talked to a lady from Delta Plumbers on the phone and she said they couldn’t give me an estimate quote by the phone and that was ok for me. I told her that I had already a quote from another company and she said that they could match that quote, so I agreed with the visit. The plumber came and told me that it would cost X (which was more than double than my previous quote). I told him that I only agreed with the visit because the lady said they could match the price. He asked me to talk to her again. I called her and she said that she never said she was going to match the quote. I told her that the only reason I agreed with the visit was because they were going to match it. Otherwise I was going to find other plumbers that could give me more clear estimate of costs. They wanted me to pay $89+tax for the visit. Which was really unfair since there was a clear misinformation by the phone. I had to talk to another person from the company and he agreed to lower the visit price after lots of explanation. I don’t think it was even fair to charge this visit because it was really a waste of time for me. I understand there is the cost of someone coming to my place, but giving the lack of transparency of the situation, they could have been more understanding of my side of the story. Overall, the way the lady was pushing me to book the visit and the way the guy on the phone was pushing me to pay for the visit made me feel harassed. I don’t recommend this company to anyone.

Brad arrived 2 hours late without a phone call to let me know. I had to contact the office. Price quote for a simple kitchen faucet replacement was close to $500.00. I told him to leave and got a name brand installer to do the exact same job for $179.09. Delta Plumbers were quick to charge me their $89.00 service fee for a service not provided.
