It was a lovely experience start to finish. My boyfriend and I received the couple's massage. From the moment we walked in, we immediately were helped and got to our room early. It was very clean and calming. I felt our massages were done very well with good check-ins where needed. I felt they were very diligent. We were then met with water and a little deodorant upon the end which was a nice surprise to us! Very much recommend!

I had a great couples massage with my husband for his birthday. They were lovely, it was incredibly relaxing and reasonably priced for a great experience. The hot stones during the massage was my favorite part. I love that they ask what kind of pressure you prefer, where you want them to focus (and where not to touch) and that they followed that ask. Went based on recommendations from friends who are regulars and we will be back!

My partner and I recently visited your location to celebrate our anniversary, as I have had many (more than 30) great experiences at LPMS and were looking forward to a relaxing and memorable experience. Unfortunately, I am writing to share that my experience during the massage fell well short of expectations. The masseuse assigned to me appeared to be extremely fatigued and, at one point, actually fell asleep during the session. As a result, only half of the standard massage was completed, and the last half was inconsistent and lacked continuity. In addition, we had booked an add-on foot massage, but the effort given during this portion of the treatment felt minimal — perhaps 25% of what one would reasonably expect from a professional service.While I understand that everyone can have an off day, this was a special occasion for us, and I left feeling more stressed and disappointed than relaxed. I am bringing this to your attention not to place blame, but in the hope that it can be used constructively to maintain the high standards your business is known for. I did not bring it up during my massage because I was trying to relax and not upset my wife to complain about the lack of effort.

I arrived in Chicago this morning and acclimated to the Lincoln Park area this afternoon. By day's end I was exhausted and had been wanting to get a massage so I called up Lincoln Park Massage based on reviews and they were able to fit me right in. The location was easy to find by foot using Google maps. When I arrived there was a note on the door that they would be right back and the receptionist that met me was pleasant and helpful. It was an easy check in process and Susan, my massage therapist, met me immediately. We started right on time. At first, I was struggling with the warmth of the room but over time I became adjusted to it and it really help to relax my tense muscles. Susan started off with warming up of the muscles but then she really got to work. She was very good. At times, she seemed like she was rushing a bit but then she would go get hot stones or a hot towel and neck wrap. She really fit a lot in in 60 minutes. The massage was only $59. They hold your reservation with a credit card but you can pay cash if you want after the treatment is over. Tipping in cash is requested or you will be charged a $2 service fee. Not a big deal but important to know. The atmosphere is a little cheesy but your eyes are closed 90% of the time you are there so it really doesn't matter. The facility is clean and Susan washed her hands multiple times during the treatment (after working on my feet for example). I would highly recommend this spa.
