My therapist is so so excellent, but the billing department kinda screwed me over & ran a charge on my card for $500 despite my multiple messages/calls days in advance to pause it so that I could upload my new insurance card before being out $500. Now I have to wait for them to submit it to my new insurance which seems like, based off info they gave me, that it will take up to 2 months.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Faustina Adenuga as my Psychiatrist. She was very detailed and concerned about my mental health issues. She's Amazing. Also the staff members that I interacted with over the phone were EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND POLITE. Thanks LifeStance.

The telehealth and portal applications do not work properly. My first two visits (which I was forced to take 3 weeks apart), had technical difficulties which ruined half the time of the session. I looked online and complaints of these technical issues are years old, they have not cared to fix any of the problems. The therapist just says "I'm new here and don't control the portal or app". When I call to report the problem to the phone number listed I am greeted with "so you want to complain about something that isn't in our control". They then say that a manager will have to call me back. No date, time, nothing. Just expect me to drop what I'm doing and take their call at their whim, if I want the issue addressed. Next, they will reply to this review and ask me to send them an email so they can get it to the right team. They know about these problems they simply just don't care to fix them.
