Visited on a couple of occasions recently for their Lunch offerings and for their Happy Hour specials. The Rabbit Hole is a British-style gastropub offering many pub classics and unique cocktails, with British favorites such as Haddock and Chips, Pies and Butter Chicken. Their Beef Wellington special (Wednesdays for lunch only) was one of the unique items offered especially for the lunch hour. The Beef Wellington was cooked medium-rare to medium, which was overall tender and flavourful. Portion size was very filling for one especially given the size of the Beef Wellington provided, alongside the included sides (mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables). For a lunch special, this was fairly premium compared to other lunch offerings especially around the area. As for Happy Hour, their specials included special prices on cocktails and select wines/beers on tap. Many of their snacks are vegetarian/vegan-friendly, such as their Maple-Siracha Cauliflower and Spinach Dip. Their snacks were a decent portion size as a shareable, but is best for smaller groups. Overall, it's a decent spot to get British-style pub cuisine in the Financial District that's a bit more on the upscale side. Staff were overall friendly and helped with any recommendations for any food or drinks. Recommended to get reservations as it can get busy during the lunch hour and for happy hour as well.

Tried out the Winterlicious dinner menu with a friend. I thought the british home styled decor and rock classics playing as background music was a unique touch. The food was good but not a standout for the price point. For appetizers we enjoyed the crispy pork belly bites more than the salmon pate, which was reminiscent of a tuna salad sandwich. We had the roast dinner for our main, the elements were executed well particularly the beef, but I noticed the food got cold quickly. I wish it was served warmer or the plates were heated to accommodate. Dessert was enjoyable, and service was friendly. I'd try rabbit hole again but maybe as a downtown spot for drinks with friends.

We visited the Rabbit Hole for a post business meeting dinner a group of about 15. The location is nice and well appointed. Expect downtown corporate vibes. Food wise it was heavy English courses. The steak and ale pie was solid. The rabbit pastry was a little weaker entry a Crab cake on an English muffin except sub rabbit for crab I liked it but not blown away for the price. The draft beer and cocktail selection was limited for this area and our martini order consistency was not great. I'd really like to see more UK beers perhaps old speckled hen or Smithwicks. With the slower service we got dinner took about 3 hrs to get through and was great flavor wise but the price and lack of attention hurt. Overall a fine spot to bring your business partner but I wouldn't make a special trip here.
