Gina DawsonI came across this little gem of a shop last year. If it was local to me i would be in there every day. Michaela is so friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. Her advice and knowledge is second to none. I do try to get there every month for my fix and stock up on yarns. Since going to A modern yarn i have become hooked again on knitting and yarns and with Michaela's guidance, more adventurous. I went to A magic Loop course last week and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I have been knitting since i was 12 yrs of age but Michaela has taught me so much already. I have booked on the Finishing Techniques Workshop in April and looking forward to improving the finishing products of my knitting.
