Customer experiences
Very nice and professional Team however the Rooms and the service must be leveled up Patients needs True Luxury Experience like a Hotel not still outdated furniture I believe Latifa Hospital deserves to be the best and change the whole experience for a better one
At first when I saw the low reviews, O thought maybe minor issues, but after a full experience with this hospital, I can’t describe how unprofessional the process is, how no empathy in any person I have met, with my wife while we lost our child, on the contrary they made fun of the situation, stating “why this baby makes us so sad”!!! No insurance follow up, the insurance themself are skeptical with the hospital and very careful of what to accept, which I didnt see with any hospital or clinic here. They want you to pay and try to delay the process of your claims or to reverse your money back until insurance approves. I would recommend to avoid this hospital unless its forth major, and you need to be careful and question the doctors as everyday you will have a new doctor who didn’t follow up on what happened prior, they wont listen to you, or your perspective, they will keep dosing you with drugs that you dont need, and then act like sorry insurance didnt approve after 5 days, or proof they submitted anything. (Funny thing we finished the insurance issue over 5 mins call with insurance). And there is no responsible or official to talk to, just to add.
I was admitted to Latifa Hospital on December 8, 2024, and ended up spending Christmas and New Year in the hospital due to Placenta Previa Grade 4 completely covering the os. During my stay, I experienced seven episodes of bleeding and battled anemia. Other hospitals had given up on my case, leaving me stressed and worried, especially since I was only 32 weeks pregnant at the time. However, the moment I was admitted to Latifa Hospital, the doctors and nurses reassured me that both my baby and I would be okay. I am incredibly grateful to the amazing team in Ward 8, Room 6, who provided exceptional care during such a critical time. A special thanks to Nurse Lyce for being so dedicated, attentive, and detail-oriented. You noticed I was already having contractions that day and handled the situation with professionalism and empathy. Every time you were assigned to me, I felt at ease because you explained everything clearly, which helped me immensely as I was feeling very worried and depressed about my condition. Despite being scheduled for a C-section at 37 weeks, my baby decided to come earlier at 35 weeks and 6 days. I cannot thank the doctors and nurses enough in the operation theater, recovery room, delivery suite, and Ward 9 for their professionalism, empathy, and reassurance throughout the process. A huge thank you to Dra. Israa and her team, who made me feel safe and supported during one of the scariest moments of my life. Thank you also to the NICU team, who took excellent care of my baby. However, I must share some concerns about my baby’s experience in Ward 3, Room 9. Most of the nurses there did not create a positive or welcoming environment for parents, and I felt the level of care for my baby was not up to the hospital’s high standards. Only one nurse stood out as exceptional, while others handled my baby poorly, which rushed me into discharging my baby sooner than I originally planned. This was disappointing compared to the otherwise incredible care I received in other areas of the hospital. Overall, I am forever grateful to Latifa Hospital and its staff for saving me and my baby. This hospital is truly a pride of Dubai, and I highly recommend it to expectant mothers. However, as an expat, I must advise others to ensure they have insurance, as the costs without it can be significant. Thank you to all the dedicated doctors and nurses who made such a difference in my life. You are all heroes in every sense of the word!
We had a very disappointing and stressful experience at Latifa Hospital Emergency on 17th September 2025. My wife was suffering from severe abdominal pain due to a pregnancy-related complication, and we rushed there expecting urgent care. Unfortunately, despite explaining it was an emergency, she was made to wait while staff asked for repeated details even though her Emirates ID had already been scanned. The urgency of the situation was not taken seriously. Inside the scanning room, she was already in pain but was asked to prepare the bed herself, which felt very unprofessional in an emergency case. She was also made uncomfortable when asked if male trainees could stay during a sensitive scan. In such conditions, patients deserve privacy, respect, and care — not additional stress. On top of that, she waited more than an hour for a simple blood test, even though she was in severe pain and was the only patient waiting. Finally, we had no choice but to leave and go to another hospital where she received proper urgent treatment. This experience caused us both physical and emotional distress. For a hospital focused on women and children’s health, we expected professionalism and compassion, but sadly it was missing.
