The quality of the office has diminished greatly after being acquired by Smilebuilderz. My children have been patients for twelve years and had their appointments cancelled because we did not confirm a text. They did not leave voicemails on either of our mobile phones and do not call from a published number so how is someone supposed to know who's calling. I was always impressed by their customer service but not anymore. We are transferring care.

1 star is the lowest I can give, but I certainly would give 0 if I could. My 7 year old son is immune compromised, and needs routine dental visits worse than my non immune compromised children. He is on infusions and injections to boost his white blood cells and immune antibody levels. February 2025 my son had an appt with LPDA and it was cancelled due to no provider. They literally called while I was driving too the office, that’s how little notice they gave. Mind you, my son is required to have a blood draw prior to dental visits and if his white blood cell count is too low he needs special medication. So he was stuck by a needle for no reason. Rescheduled for May. Same deal, that morning they called and cancelled his visit due to no provider available, again my son had been unnecessarily stuck with a needle. Rescheduled for July. At this point it had been a year since he was seen. Most would say, take him elsewhere but due to my sons condition he has to be at a pediatric dental and not just a small family dentist we all go too. Today they called and cancelled his THIRD visit that was schedule for next week. At least this time he didn’t have bloodwork drawn before it. It’s now been a year since my son was seen. This is negligence to be scheduling kids for appointments they know they will cancel. This is negligence to have cause my son pain by getting stuck twice with needles for no reason. Your strung along and made to think the next will be the one they are actually seen. Shame on LPDA/smilebuilders! We will not be doing this again. I thankfully found another that will take my son. Yes I have to drive an hour rather than 30 minutes, but at least he will be seen! Please PLEASE PLEASE do not take your child here!!!!!

I really don't recommend. The dentists here were nice, but they are not professional. They likes to arrange the treatment for kids, which I believed it's over reacting, but they ignored some really questions, like my son had too long tongue strap, they didn't tell anything about this(The new dentist reminded us when the first time teeth exam for my son). My daughter needs orthodontic teeth, they never mentioned it. And when they cancelled the appointment, it's really not easy to arrange another appointment. Very disappointed for LPDA.

Used to love LDPA, when I learned they are now a part of Smilebuilderz my heart literally sunk, as my family had multiple issues with Smilebuiderz in the past. Every visit felt like they were just trying to sell dentistry and they always double billed me and took months to correct. My kids have been to LPDA twice since the merge, and of course they billed incorrectly, scheduled a cavity to be filled 3 months out, then called and rescheduled it for another two months. Now they cancelled their 6 month cleaning because I didn’t confirm. They said they sent two text messages to my number asking to confirm, but they absolutely did not. It’s truly disappointing that the joined Smilebuilderz, I feel bad for the good Dentists that now have to associate themselves with Smilebuiderz. I told them to forget everything, I’m pulling my kids and taking them elsewhere!
